A note for Americans (and other places with shitty police): Some context to keep in mind. While less than 50% of Americans trust US police, in Norway 80% of people trust the police, and only 5% distrust the police. Distrust is usually based in doubting their ability to solve crimes, whereas they were most trusted to treat people with respect (regardless of identity), and to act in a fair and impartial manner. The crime rate in Norway is very low.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: He's not particularly touchy himself (though it depends on the person), but he appreciates it, and probably needs it.
INTIMACY: Absolutely possible, but 20+ at least, and he's not super likely to initiate - at least not without getting some obvious signals first.
RELATIONSHIPS: Slowburn for sure.
ORIENTATION: Straight, but possibly flexible with the right CR.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely. He's a good fighter and he can take a beating. Might even enjoy it. That said, he's unlikely to initiate unless to protect someone else, as it's trained in him that violence is a last resort. But he might egg someone on if he's in a bad place.
